Not only property developers want to take advantage of the warehouse boom
The Parkiet newspaper published an article on the development prospects of the logistics and industrial market.
In the article, the situation was commented on by Michał Skowron, President of the Management Board of Dekpol Budownictwo:
“Observing the current potential of the warehouse market from the perspective of a general contractor specializing in the implementation of this type of facilities, we note another year of increased interest in them on the part of our clients. The smooth operation of supply chains in a pandemic reality is a key challenge for both e-commerce distributors and manufacturers. Currently, we evaluate and implement many projects of this type and in a full range – ranging from large logistics centers, through high storage facilities, facilities accompanying production plants, to last mile warehouses. As a result of the forecasted several dozen percent increase in the turnover of the e-commerce industry at least until 2025, as well as due to the trend of shortening the path to the end customer, the shaping of which is noticeable among producers, I expect that in the next few years the warehouse space market will rise.”
