Dekpol is the general contractor for Express Car Rental

Dekpol has signed a contract for the construction of a logistics base for Express Car Rental – a nationwide leader in the car rental sector. The following companies will also operate on the investment: Autopunkt Samochody Uzytkowe and Spec-Box Serwis Motoryzacyjny. All entities belong to the Polish capital group Holding 1, which operates simultaneously in four industries: automotive, mobility, housing and office construction.

Dekpol, as the general contractor of the investment, will be responsible for the creation of the Express Car Rental logistics base. The project involves the construction of a single-storey office and service building with an area of 600 m2 with social and sanitary facilities. There will also be a service hall with technical facilities with an area of approximately 180 m2, in which five service stations will be located. The facility will also be equipped with an automatic car wash.

Dekpol will also be responsible for the implementation of external technical infrastructure, including maneuvering areas with a total area exceeding 7000 m² and technical installations (water supply, domestic sewage, storm water, gas and energy). The contract also provides for works related to land development, including lighting installation and arrangement of greenery. The planned completion of construction is expected in six months.

The logistics base of Express Car Rental will be located at Budowlanych street in Gdansk, just 1.5 km away from the Tri-City Ring Road, 3 km from the Gdańsk Airport and 4 km from the S7 expressway. Access to the center of Gdańsk by car will take about 15 minutes.

Dekpol is an expert in the construction of logistics and industrial facilities, shopping centers and other cubature facilities. At the end of the first half of 2019, the Group performed contracts for external entities with a total contractual value of over PLN 500 million net.
