Dekpol increases the turnover dynamically

In the first half of 2017, Dekpol Capital Group reached consolidated sales revenues in the amount of PLN 159,9 million, which means increase by 66% year by year. Dynamic increase was mostly the consequence of two business activities: general contracting segment, where the sales increased by 14% year by year, as well as production of equipment to construction machines, where the revenues increased by as much as 128% year by year! From January to June this year, the Group reached at the same time the net profit in the amount of PLN 6,3 million comparing to net profit in the amount of PLN 9,3 million in the 1st half of the year 2016, nevertheless it should be noted, that the previous year’s results have been supported by one-time event, i.e. revaluation of the Almond Hotel.

“Results reached in the first half this year are consistent with our estimations. We are very pleased with the development of all out business segments, which develop systematically. In the second half this year, we expect especially high dynamics of the turnover in real-estate development segment. It will be supported by planned completion of currently performed projects, including especially the project Nowa Motława. In coming periods, we aim to identify in our revenues of about PLN 200 million from sales of about 600 apartments, which will follow mainly in the 4th quarter 2017. As a result, we do not see any risk for execution of our projection aiming reaching in the whole year 2017 revenues in the amount of PLN 500 million.” – said Mariusz Tuchlin, President of Management Board of Dekpol S.A.

In the first half this year, there were contracted 486 premises in the meaning of preliminary, property development, as well as reservation agreements. For comparison to the same period of previous year, there were 278 premises contracted, and in the whole 2016 – 537 premises. In revenues of real-estate development segment, in the first half this year was identified the sales of 83 premises comparing to 42 premises in analogous period last year, and 176 premises in the whole year 2016. As of the end of June this year, there were still 582 premises in sales offer available. In addition, the Group owns the bank of land enabling design and performance of another property development investments for approximately 54 thousands of PUM (usable floor area).

As a part of general contracting segment, as at the end of the first half of 2017, the Capital Group was under performance of a joint contractual value equal to above net PLN 250 million. Under execution were the projects of a joint value of almost net PLN 200 million. All projects are performed on behalf of private investors and the majority of them should take no longer than 6-8 months, which covers against inflation of construction costs. The main business activities are carried out in Pomorskie Province, with the share in execution of projects in the amount of about 70%. The Company notes the most dynamic increases in the segment of production of equipment to construction machines. In this segment, Dekpol focuses on cooperation with long-term clients (OEM and aftermarket), which deliver about 85% of the segment’s revenues. At the end of this year, those clients shall deliver 100% of the mentioned revenues. Dekpol became known as the strategic deliverer for such a global manufacturers of construction machines like Doosan or Bobcat. Currently, Dekpol is the biggest producer of equipment and buckets for construction machines in Poland. Consequent activities are focused on joining until the end of 2020 the forefront of European producers of equipment. “Our strong position as the producer of buckets is acknowledged not only in Europe, but also in USA, the proof of which is the planned for October 2017 personal visit of AED-President, thus American Associated Equipment Distributors” – added Mariusz Tuchlin.
