Dekpol Budownictwo will construct a modern bicycles factory for RTE Poland company
Dekpol Budownictwo will construct, as a general contractor of construction works, a modern complex of production facilities for the Portuguese company RTE Poland. The investment with usable floor area of over 20 thousands of m2 will be developed in Brześć Kujawski near Włocławek. In a new factory, which will provide about 70 new jobs positions, bicycles will be manufactured by using Industry 4.0 solutions.
Dekpol Budownictwo will carry out a contract covering construction of a modern factory for a Portuguese bicycle manufacturer. The complex of industrial facilities in Brześć Kujawski commune will provide over 20000 m2 of usable space, on a plot of 6.5 hectares. About 18000 m2 will be used for production facilities and technical parts. Remaining nearly 2000 m2 will be used for social and office purposes. As a part of the complex will be constructed a unique warehouse with a height of over 30 meters.

Bicycles manufactured in the new factory will be delivered to RTE’s business partner – the Decathlon retailer. The factory will find wide application of Industry 4.0 solutions and the use of the most modern, automated and environmentally safe machines and devices.
In accordance with investor’s assumptions, in the initial stage of business activities will be manufactured 500000 of bikes annually. Completion of this investment phase and hand-over of the finished facility is scheduled at the turn of Q2 and Q3 2021. The RTE concern is one of the largest European bicycle manufacturers in Europe. Location of another factory in Poland fits in implementation of the development strategy of the Portuguese investor. This was due to the great location due to the export plans, the economic stability of Poland and the high industrial culture.

The Warsaw-based “Project Management” company, well-known not only from the industrial market, will be responsible for general design, management and technical supervision. “Project Management” company provides, among other things, a comprehensive technical supervision over construction of the tallest building in the European Union – Varso Tower – which is a part of a prestigious investment project in the heart of the capital city, with an area of 230000 m2.
Dekpol Budownictwo (previously operating as the General Contracting Department in the structure of Dekpol S.A.) has achieved a leading position in implementation of cubature construction projects in recent years. It specializes in construction of industrial facilities, logistics, commercial and public utility centers. The company offers its services ranging from design concept to “turnkey” construction. It also carries out housing and hotel development projects for its sister company Dekpol Deweloper.
The advantage of the General Contracting Department is the experience of our team gathered since 1993, which today has been extended to over 350 engineers, operators, assemblers and construction employees.
