ISO 14001

ISO 14001:2004 is the international standard of environmental management. The standard shows how to properly use environmental resources. The environmental management system ISO 14001:2004 constitutes a set of rules and guidelines for organizations who care to improve the quality of their services.

Environmental management embraces the whole complexity of issues having impact on the strategy and competitiveness, and the confirmation of the environmental management system implementation by a certificate can be used by an entity to assure all interested parties that the system is properly implemented. July is a hot season, not only because of summer holidays.

July 2014 was a hot season for DEKPOL S.A.

The Company was subject to a certification audit for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. It was an organizational challenge to implement the rules and principles established by the standard, both in terms of work load, and the efforts of the whole team. The guidelines are rigorous: they require the minimalization of the Company’s negative impact on the environment, and segregation of all types of waste, including industrial waste. The certification audit carried out in the middle of July 2014 was the crowning of the team’s efforts.

During their visit in the Company the auditors from the German company TÜV Rheinland confirmed the compliance of our functioning system with the international standard requirements. The visit resulted in granting the prestigious ISO 14001 compliance certificate for the environmental management system applied in the Company.
