Custom-made buckets
Fixtures of appropriate quality are the natural completion of each construction machine. Such fixtures make diggers or loaders universal and useful equipment necessary on each construction site. This fact is perfectly clear for Dekpol S.A. seated in Pinczyn (pomorskie voivodeship), a company specializing in the manufacture of various types of buckets.
Dekpol S.A. has been operating for over 20 years. As a general contractor, the Company is a specialist in the construction of industrial, warehouse, commercial, public utility and service buildings, including complex infrastructure. Dekpol is a leading manufacturer of light and heavy steel structures. The steel structures division also offers products dedicated to the construction sector. The range of products includes buckets for diggers, backhoe loaders, wheel and telescopic material handlers.
First of all – the diggers
Our no. 1 products are loading buckets for diggers. The buckets meet all European quality standards. According to the manufacturer’s assurance, the appropriate construction and shape of buckets contributes to the prolongation of the useful life of the machine and efficient loading (lower fuel consumption). “We manufacture our buckets using the S355 steel, Swedish wear resistant Hardox steel, and Weldox steel. We offer a full range of backhoe buckets for ground and rock works. One of our largest customers is the greatest granite mine in Norway. Our product range includes high volume buckets, skeleton buckets, slope ditching buckets, and loading buckets, both rigid and hydraulically titling” – says Tomasz Jeschke, responsible for the sale of buckets in Dekpol.
In the 4th quarter of 2014 we are going to commission a new production hall of about 3,000 m2, equipped with the most up-to-date steel processing machinery, and robotized welding stations. “The new technology will ensure an increase in the quantities of manufactured fixtures, and expand our product range” – explains Andrzej Kuchtyk, Investment and Development Director in Dekpol.
“Production of customized buckets that meet individual requirements is our unquestionable advantage. The newly applied technologies make it possible for us to accept untypical orders from our customers” – adds Tomasz Jeschke. It is worth noting that the order completion period does not exceed 14 days.
Confirmed quality
Dekpol S.A. uses the Hardox wear resistant steel in its products. Dekpol is the only Polish manufacturer of buckets with the “Hardox In My Body” certificate that confirms strict compliance of this specific material processing with the guidelines of the Swedish manufacturer, the company SSAB. “To get such a certificate, the company must undergo an audit carried out with the participation of SSAB representatives. They make an on-site step-by-step check if the production process is executed in accordance with the manufacturer’s standards and guidelines. Then they confirm compliance by issuing a certificate. It is hard to obtain this document, and that is why we are very proud of it” – informs Tomasz Jeschke. Besides the SSAB certificate, the Company has the following ones: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, EN ISO 3834 and EN 1090 that provide quality control guidelines for the process of welding.
The high quality of our products is also confirmed by our partners – construction equipment dealers. Among them there are authorized representatives of Caterpillar, Volvo and Komatsu.
High exports
DEKPOL S.A. is export oriented. We send over 80% of our production volume abroad. “Our largest markets are Scandinavian countries – Norway and Sweden. We also sell to the United Kingdom and Germany. Our products are present in other parts of Europe, and our customers come from France, Denmark and Austria. I would also like to note as a matter of interest that we have already delivered buckets to Morocco and Australia” – Tomasz Jeschke reports. The main objective of DEKPOL S.A. is to increase the sales of its products to the countries outside Europe, and enrich the offer of fixtures.
